THE latest meeting of the Chester FC Senior Blues will be taking place this Friday (February 4).

The group, which gets together on the first Friday of each month during the season, is holding its latest meeting in the Blues Bar at the Deva Stadium from 10.30am.

Membership costs just £10 a year and as well as gaining new friends through a shared love of the Blues, fans are also treated to visits from former players and arrange regular day trips.

This month, members will hear from new Chester FC manager Steve Watson and Liverpool Echo business of football writer Dave Powell.

Each meeting has about 50 members attending, with tea and coffee available.

As usual, all funds will go towards the Senior Blues Youth Foundation, with thousands of pounds going to this cause each year.

Future guest speakers lined up include former Chester FC manager Neil Young, new Chester FC director Lottie Walker, chairman and vice chairman Andy Morris and Jim Green, and Labour Party General secretary (and Chester FC supporter) David Evans.
