FIREFIGHTERS were called out to an incident on a busy road in Chester.
One fire crew attended the scene at about 1.30pm today (Thursday, January 20) on Warrington Road.
On arrival firefighters found a van which was well alight.
The driver of the vehicle also reported that there was a petrol generator in the van.
One firefighter, wearing breathing apparatus, used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and dampen down.
The crew were detained at the scene for about 45 minutes.
The fire is believed to have been caused by an electrical fault.
