Nearly 30 new jobs are available at a company based on the Deeside Industrial Estate.

Due to expansion, Saica Flex is recruiting this month, with a variety of opportunities on offer at the company including general production assistants, warehouse operatives and core cutters as well as more specialised roles including an ink technician and planner.

Saica Group provides sustainable recycled paper, corrugated cardboard and flexible packaging manufacturing solutions as well as solutions for waste management and the recovery of waste.

Their Saica Flex branch, based in Deeside focuses on flexible packaging.

Twenty-seven new jobs are available at the site with a recruitment event being held next week.

The event will take place on Thursday, January 27, between 11am and 7pm at their site on Deeside Industrial Estate and is being run in conjunction with Flintshire Council’s Communities for Work programme and the Department of Work and Pensions.

A spokesperson for Flintshire Council said: "Communities for Work and Communities for Work Plus is Flintshire County Council's Employment programme funded by Welsh Government and is designed to provide employability and training support to any Flintshire resident aged 16+.

"The programme can help individuals gain employment, work experience, gain new skills and qualifications."
