One of Britain's most cherished singers, songwriters and guitarists, Glen Tilbrook will be appearing at the Chester Live Rooms on Saturday, 5th March.

One half of Squeeze's songwriting duo, Glenn Tilbrook and Chris Difford wrote some of the most enduring pop hits of the late '70s and early '80s. Singles like Cool for Cats, Up the Junction, Labelled with Love, Black Coffee in Bed and landmark albums such as Argybargy, East Side Story and Some Fantastic Place, made the band a household name.

Following their initial split in 1998, Tilbrook carved out a fine solo career in his own right with The Incomplete Glenn Tilbrook and Transatlantic Ping-Pong showcasing an ever-maturing songwriting talent. His most recent contribution, Happy Ending featured a more personal tone, which included writing and vocal contributions from his children Leon and Wesley.

A consummate performer, Tilbrook is set to bring his wit, talent and extensive back catalogue to the venue on Station Road in a little over six weeks time.
