FIREFIGHTERS were called out to an incident in a village on the outskirts of Chester.
One fire crew responded to the call out in Stoney Lane, Tarporley, at about 3.10pm yesterday (Wednesday, January 12).
Firefighters received reports of a large fire in the open.
On arrival the crew found a large bonfire.
One hose reel jet was used to extinguish the flames.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said words of advice were provided.
