A TREE of light will celebrate the life of loved ones this Christmas.
Residents can dedicate a star in memory of their family and friends at Northwich Cemetery.
A large holly tree inside the cemetery gates will be lit up throughout the festive season.
The ceremony takes place at Witton Cemetery on Church Road at 6pm on Friday, December 10.
Stars can be picked up at Northwich Town Council offices at 78 Church Road or Snipets Hair Salon on Station Road.
Stars can then be returned with the names of loved ones to be laminated by Wednesday, December 8.
The stars will remain on the tree until after the 12th night of Christmas when the lights will be turned off and the stars removed.
There is no charge for the stars but any donations will go to the mayor's charity.
