ARMED police were called to an Ellesmere Port street on Tuesday, November 30, with an arrest made.
Cheshire police confirmed that at 6.40pm on Tuesday, officers were called to an address in Newnham Drive following a disturbance.
Officers, supported by firearms officers and a dog patrol, attended and a 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of threats to kill and assault by beating.
A knife was also seized from the address.
The man has since been released on conditional bail.
