A 'SERIOUS collision' has closed a section of road near Ellesmere Port in both directions.
Cheshire police said on a social media post at 10.45pm on Thursday, November 25 that the closed section of road is the A5117, between the A540 Parkgate Road junction and the Dunkirk roundabout.
That section of road is by Powey Lane Fire Station, not far from Mollington.
Police say the road is closed in both directions and motorists should avoid the area.
