A CHESTER pub will be hosting two festive events next month, with proceeds going to a local children's charity.
The Little Owl, situated off Countess Way neat the Countess of Chester Country Park, will first be hosting a Christmas market on Saturday, December 4 from 5pm onwards.
There will be live music and outdoor food including burgers and doughnuts, as well as the usual pub food indoors.
Those putting up stalls will be charged £10 per stall, with all fees going towards the chosen charity Miles of Smiles.
The second event to be held at the Chester pub will be a coffee morning on Saturday, December 18, from 9.30am onwards, and will feature a number of cakes on sale.
Proceeds from both events will go to Miles of Smiles, which next year celebrates 30 years of helping children with life-limiting illnesses and/or disabilities by taking them on the trip of a lifetime to Disneyland Paris.
Over the years, the charity has raised over £1.75 million to send hundreds of children to the family theme park with the full VIP treatment to make it a magical, unforgettable experience.
