POLICE closed a section of road in Ellesmere Port on Monday night (November 22) due to a road traffic collision.
The incident on Ledsham Road forced officers to close the section of road between the Wetherby Way junction and the Hillcrest Road junction at about 5.30pm.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said the road traffic collision, involving two vehicles, was minor, but led to the road being blocked.
There were no reports of any serious injuries but both cars had to be recovered.
The road was reopened at about 6.30pm.
