ONE lane had to be closed this morning on a section of the A494 in Flintshire due to flooding.
A heavy downpour resulted in part of the eastbound carriageway between St David's Interchange and Queensferry becoming flooded.
Traffic Wales stated on Twitter shortly before 8.30am: "Flooding #A494 Eastbound between #StDavids and #Queensferry Lane 1 closed | Officers en route. #TrafficWalesAlert."
A further update at 9am confirmed that the closure had been lifted.
