FIREFIGHTERS were called out to two deliberate car fires within minutes of each other in Ellesmere Port.
One fire crew attended the scene of the first blaze at about 7.20pm last night (Monday, October 25 in Woodchurch Lane. attended from Ellesmere Port
Firefighters used a hose reel jet to extinguish the car fire and were detained at the scene for around 20 minutes.
The cause of the fire is believed to deliberate and anyone with any information is asked to call Cheshire police on 101, or visit www.cheshire.police.uk/tua.
At about 7.50pm firefighters were called to reports of a car fire on Festival Road.
One firefighter, wearing breathing apparatus, used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
The crew were detained at the scene for about 30 minutes.
