POLICE were called out to Chester city centre on Saturday amid reports of someone carrying a kitchen knife in public.
The Cheshire Police Special Constabulary team said two officers from its team were deployed to the city as a result of the incident.
Posting on social media, the team reported: "Due to the city being busy, they quickly intercepted and brought the incident to a peaceful conclusion.
"One arrested for possession of a bladed article."
