AN exciting new event featuring street food, drink, music and a makers market is heading to Ellesmere Port next month.
It will take place in the warehouse building next door to the main town centre market between 12-6pm on Saturday, November 6.
The event is being organised by Ellesmere Port Social – a social media account promoting local events and initiatives.
They hope the event will bring more visitors to the town centre while also showcasing budding artists and pop-up businesses in the town.
A spokesperson for Ellesmere Port Social told The Standard: "We created Ellesmere Port Social to share all the positive aspects of our town and to promote local events, music and community related content.
"After a number of years running the social media account, the natural progression for us was to start and host our own events to showcase artists and pop-up businesses that operate out of and around our town.
"Our event at The Market Warehouse has been a long time in planning and we’re excited to be able to start this in the town centre.
"The event will bring a mixture of street food, music and a makers market.
"We’d like to thank the team at Ellesmere Port Market and the council for their support and who we have a shared vision with for a better, busier Ellesmere Port town centre."
- Admission to the event is free.
