Firefighters tackled a fire in Ellesmere Port.
AN APPEAL has been launched after play equipment in Ellesmere Port was set alight.
Firefighters were called out to Delamere Drive in Great Sutton just before 5pm yesterday (Monday, October 18) to reports of a fire at a play area
They used a hose reel jet to extinguish the blaze.
The crew were in attendance for about 30 minutes.
The cause of the fire is believed to deliberate and anyone with information is asked to call Cheshire police on 101, or visit www.cheshire.police.uk/tua, quoting IML 1111337.
