POLICE officers searching for a missing man in Cheshire West have found a body.
The body was discovered in a wooded area near to Lily Lane, Byley, at about 5.20pm yesterday (Wednesday, October 13).
Formal identification has not yet taken place, but it is believed to be that of missing man Robert Godfrey from Winsford.
His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
His death is not believed to be suspicious.
A case file will be prepared for the coroner.
