TWO men have been arrested in Chester on suspicion of drugs offences as part of an ongoing county lines crackdown.

The males – aged 27 and 43 – were stopped by police while in a vehicle on Queens Park View in Handbridge at 5pm yesterday (October 12).

Following a search of the 27-year-old man, officers seized a large quantity of class A drugs.

He was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin, and is currently in police custody.

The 43-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply cocaine and has since been released under investigation.
