POLICE have arrested a 'suspicious' man following numerous reports of women being approached and intimidated.
Officers have been notified of several incidents taking place in Pickmere over the last 24 hours.
Now a 37-year-old man has been taken into custody on suspicion of a number of offences.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said: "We have received reports over the last 24 hours of suspicious incidents in Pickmere involving a male approaching and intimidating female members of the community.
"A 37-year-old male has been arrested this morning for multiple offences and is currently in custody."

Any suspicious activity can be reported to police by calling 101 or 999 if in an emergency.
Incidents can also be reported online via the Cheshire Police website.
