A BURGLAR who stole thousands of pounds of items from a Chester city centre store has been jailed for 40 months.
David Hollis, 38, of Hampstead Road, Liverpool, had previously pleaded guilty on August 9 to the burglary, which happened at the Boots store on Foregate Street on July 10.
Chester Crown Court heard Hollis had broken into the store and stole £7,865.50 of items.
Judge Michael Leeming sentenced Hollis to 40 months in prison on Tuesday, October 5.
Hollis must also pay a £190 surcharge.
