A CHESTER primary school's play area which has been brought back to life has been officially opened.
Works were completed over the summer holidays and at the start of term at the new-look Lache Primary School play area, which had been out of action for a number of years.
On hand to open the play area on October 1 was Diane Clark, chair of governors, while fellow school governor Julie Chasteau was also in attendance.
The children were thrilled to be able to use it once more with some fabulous new equipment additions.
The equipment has been designed so that it can be used by nursery children up to Year 6, and features a new trim trail, teepee, bug hotel, climbing frame and science table.
On the first venture, children were heard shouting: "This is amazing!"
Headteacher Kate Seager is hoping to develop a den building area too.
