AN energetic and lively band with an odd Nordic sense of humour will be taking to the stage in Chester later this month.

Steve ’n’ Seagulls is a Finnish band playing bluegrass(ish) versions of classic rock and original tracks with an astonishing arsenal of acoustic instruments ranging almost the whole alphabet.

They will be performing at The Live Rooms in Station Road, Chester, on September 29.

Having originally uploaded their hillbillified but air-tightly played rendition of AC/DC’s seminal 'Thunderstruck' on YouTube, they found themselves in the receiving end of millions of viewers.

Now they've found themselves with over 200 million YouTube views and counting.

This explosion of events has turned in to a recording deal, more videos and hundreds of live shows around the world.

Their albums, videos and live shows have received praise from the media.

While releasing three albums, the band has toured in over 30 countries and four continents.

Tireless touring has earned the band a growing fan base around the world.

Tickets for the Steve 'n' Seagulls gig at The Live Rooms cost £20, with doors opening at 7pm. To buy tickets, visit https://www.theliverooms.com/event/steve-n-seagulls/
