TWO road closures are due to cause disruption to motorists in Chester this week.
Rough Hill, which leads to the A483 by the Posthouse Roundabout, will be shut to all traffic from Monday, September 20, to allow for BT works to be carried out by Openreach.
Any non-emergency vehicles not requiring access to properties on the affected length of road should use alternative routes.
It is expected the work will last five days, and a 5.5-mile diversion will reroute traffic via Lache Lane, the Grosvenor Roundabout and Wrexham Road.
Separately, Cheshire West and Chester Council says a lane closure will be in place into Mill Lane, Upton, from Liverpool Road, as Cadent is investigating a gas leak opposite the Mill at Upton.
A diversion will be in place, with the lane closure in effect from Monday, September 20.
