A CHESTER business has launched a networking group aiming to connect young professionals from Chester and across the region, post-Covid.

The first meeting of the Chester Young Professionals Networking group, organised by law firm Aaron and Partners, took place at The Botanist in Chester, with attendees from businesses such as Champion Accountants, Savills, gap personnel and BA Commercial.

Lewis Stephenson, business development executive at Aaron and Partners, said: “As someone who has attended many networking events, I know how important it is to have a good network of people you can call upon.

"With the challenges we have all faced during lockdown, we felt it was the right time to create an opportunity that focuses on giving young professionals the chance to meet and build relationships with like-minded people.

“After more than a year without events taking place, it was wonderful to see such a fantastic turnout with people attending from a range of businesses.

"We’ve received some great feedback so far, and I’m hoping the next event will be even bigger and better. The evening was really relaxed, and The Botanist was a fantastic venue. It’s fair to say I’m looking forward to the next one.

“I know that there will be a lot of young people in and around Chester who are keen to get back out to events, or who want to attend their first networking event, so we’d encourage everyone to come along to our next event.”

  • The next Chester Young Professionals Networking event takes place on Thursday, October 14, at The Botanist in Chester. If you would like to be involved, email rsvp@aaronandpartners.com .
