HERE is the latest seven-day Covid case rate in both Cheshire West and Cheshire East after more than 400 people tested positive in the last 24 hours.
A total of 405 new cases were reported in Mid Cheshire between 4pm on September 12 and 4pm today, according to the latest figures from Public Health England.
This is made up of 185 new cases in Cheshire West and Chester and 220 cases in Cheshire East.
The total number of cases in both boroughs now stands at 36,910 in Cheshire West and 36,767 in Cheshire East.
The latest update means there have now been 1,531 cases in the last seven days in Cheshire West, giving the borough a seven-day case rate of 445.3 per 100,000 people.
There have been 1,384 cases in Cheshire East over the last week, meaning the borough’s seven-day case rate is now 357.9 per 100,000.
Nationally there were 30,825 new Covid-19 cases across the UK in the latest 24-hour period.
