PLANS have been lodged to convert a vacant Ellesmere Port shop premises into a restaurant.
The proposed development, which includes a front extension, is earmarked for 1A Woodland Road, opposite The Woodland pub.
A change of use planning application has been submitted to Cheshire West and Cheshire Council by a Mr Gokhan.
The property was previously occupied by bed and furniture store Bedsmart and prior to that, CSS Carpets & Flooring.
The planning application shows that the restaurant would cater for up to 55 people inside the main premises.
It is also proposed to construct a 'glazed dark grey aluminium' extension at the front of the property with bi-fold doors and a retractable fabric roof.
There would also be an outdoor dining area at the side of the building, according to the plans.
