A MAGICAL arts and adventure trail created especially for Whitby Park in Ellesmere Port launches this week.
Porto’s Peculiar Playground, organised by the town's Action Transport Theatre, will run from Thursday, August 12 to Tuesday, August 31 between 10am and 5pm.
Families are invited to weave their way around the park trail, designed by Sascha Gilmour, using the perfectly peculiar map and discover all the ways to play in Porto's playground.
There will be original music from composer Patrick Dineen, who created soundscapes for the theatre company's 2020 trail as well as a special performance programme for Whitby Park amphitheatre running throughout.
Artwork will be on display from schools including Cambridge Road Primary School, The Oaks Community Primary School, Parklands Community Primary School, St. Bernard's RC Primary, Westminster Community Primary School, and Wolverham Primary & Nursery School.
