FIREFIGHTERS from Powey Lane Fire Station were called out to tackle three Neston fires in the space of 12 hours.
The first incident was reported to the fire crew at 10.19pm on Thursday, July 29, involving a kip fire on Raby Park Road.
A hose reel was used to extinguish the fire.
The crew was then called out at 12.12am on Friday, July 30, to a small fire in a driveway in Blackeys Lane. Again, a hose reel was used to put out the fire.
Finally, at 8.06am firefighters were called to reports of a fire at a farm. On arrival, firefighters found a small fire involving a small electrical cupboard.
The crew used dry powder to extinguish the fire and was detained at the incident for around one hour.
