A FEAST of family-friendly entertainment will be taking place in Ellesmere Port next month.

Port Fest Events is lining up a busy programme of activities for local residents to enjoy.

The fun starts with Little Sutton Community Festival, which will take place on August 15 at Little Sutton Community Centre from 11am-6pm.

Activities lined up include live acts, face painting, kids rides, stalls, raffle/tombola, a dog show, a barbecue and a Pimm's Tent and Bar.

It will be followed at the end of the month by three days of fun at Whitby Park, starting with Christmas in the Summer on Saturday, August 28, from 11am-8pm.

On this seasonal day there will be a Santa's Grotto, over 50 stalls, a free Christmas gift, a dog show with £250 for the winner, and special guest appearances from Minnie and Mickey.

It will be followed on Sunday, August 29, 11am-8pm, by Port Fest, featuring games and rides, a dog show, a tribute act, stalls including toys, clothing, accessories and books, plus ice cream, face painting, a bouncy castle, music and a barbecue.

Finally, Monday, August 30 will see the Ellesmere Port Pride Family Fun Day, again from 11am-8pm, featuring music, entertainment, stalls, face painting, a barbecue and a Pride Dog Show, with fundraising for Ellesmere Port Pride 22.

All events are compliant with Covid safety measures.
