TWO fire crews were called out to a crash and used specialist cutting equipment to free a casualty.
On arrival at the scene firefighters found the collision involved two cars.
The crash occurred shortly before 7.40am today (Wednesday, July 28) on Groby Road, Crewe.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters used specialist cutting equipment to release one casualty, they were then passed to the care of paramedics.
"The crews were detained at the scene for around 45 minutes."
