Firefighters were called out to a fire close to the M56.
FIREFIGHTERS were called out to a large fire close to the M56.
Two fire crews from Ellesmere Port and Runcorn attended the blaze shortly after 2pm yesterday (Sunday, July 25) close to Junction 15.
On arrival firefighters found a quantity of grass well alight.
Three hose reel jets were used to extinguish the flames.
The area was then damped down.
