Teenagers on bikes made threats towards a person involving a knife in Bromborough yesterday, Wednesday, July, 14.

At around 3.30pm, a report was made to police of two boys on bikes, one in a possession of a knife, making threats towards a third person before they made off down Heygarth Road towards the A41.

The suspects were described as around 15-years-old, one wearing blue shorts and the other all in black.

Both were attempting to conceal their faces.

No injuries were reported and no victim has come forward.

The circumstances remain unconfirmed.

Detective Inspector Lynsay Armbruster said: "This incident would have been alarming to witness and frightening to experience.

"We're keen to speak to the person or persons threatened as soon as possible, as well as anyone else who witnessed it, or potentially captured the identity of these males on CCTV, dashcam, doorbell or other footage locally.

"Please check and let us know.

"What you tell us may the key to our investigation.

"Carrying and threatening people with knives can have catastrophic consequence, and we will continue to use all our available powers to stop and search those we suspect are in possession of any weapons which can cause fear and harm."
