DISCOUNT retailer Poundstretcher has opened a new store in Ellesmere Port today (July 14).
The new branch at the former Peacocks unit inside The Port Arcades officially launched at 10am.
To celebrate, customers had a chance of winning £300 worth of vouchers while £200 is to be donated to West Cheshire Foodbank.
Poundstretcher is returning to the town having previously occupied the old TJ Hughes premises before closing a few years ago.
Executive chairman Nadir Lalani said: "We are pleased to be opening a brand new store to the people of Ellesmere Port with lots of fantastic branded products, all at bargain prices, and look forward to opening even more stores over the coming months.
"Our team is working hard to deliver an outstanding shopping experience, great service, and an enjoyable retail environment for all our new customers."
