THIS video tour gives people a glimpse of the new boutique rooms on offer at a revamped Cheshire pub.

The stylish bedrooms were created as part of the extensive restoration of what was formerly known as the Red Lion – now called The Lion at Malpas.

There are a total of 16 rooms – several being dog-friendly – on the site, which dates back to the 16th Century.

Room styles include the 'Village', which are unique and individually designed double and twin bedrooms.

There are also eight 'Country' suites at the pub, which are larger rooms furnished with a luxurious bed and flat screen TV.

Accompanying these is the locally-renowned Bakery room, a duplex suite with a number of desirable amenities.

It boasts two floors with a separate living area, as well as views of Malpas from the window.

It’s also believed that this is the very window that Lloyd George addressed the villagers from shortly before becoming Prime Minister.

The video was put together by Josh, a valued member of the service team at sister pub The Swan at Tarporley.
