Operations director Jim Dorrington, who has developed the brand and has plans to roll it out to more locations in the near future, said: "Although this past year has been very difficult for the hospitality sector, we feel that now is a great time to launch a new brand in the premium dining market.

"With the vaccine rollout going so well and the government roadmap on track we feel people will have confidence to eat out and return to some sort of ‘normal’.

"The restaurant will of course be fully compliant with any regulations that are in place when we open."

He added: "We just can’t wait to give guests a warm Artezzan welcome, introduce the amazing team, its fabulous food and drink and of course its Mediterranean atmosphere."

Here's what you can expect:

The bar and restaurant will be open every morning from 8am offering a breakfast menu that includes an Artezzan twist on a traditional English breakfast.

A tasty Pinchos menu will also offers guests the chance to order small bitesize Mediterranean nibbles at the bar while enjoying a cold beer or glass of chilled wine.

The main event is the a la carte menu which combines classic dishes from Italy, Spain, France and Greece with the menu promising to take guests on a journey, exploring the tastes and flavours that make the Mediterranean so unique.

The restaurant will also offer a vegan menu to ensure there is something for everyone.
