IT'S BEEN a long time coming - that was the message from pub-goers as establishments opened in doors for first time for several months.
As people flocked to their respective locals, the Leader was on hand in Mold to meet some of the first to be served back indoors.
Wendy, Savanna and Cavan Daley, from Caergwrle, were in the Fat Boar.
They all felt the move to reopen indoor hospitality was long overdue and expressed their delight at things opening up again.
In Wetherspoons on the high street, we met up with a group of pensioners who were enjoying an afternoon pint.
All four agreed that they feel totallt at ease about being back indoors in a public place - with the added protection of the Covid vaccine.
That messaged was echoed by another group of locals. They said they had been taking all necessary precautions, but feel much more at ease about going out now they've all had their vaccines.
