FIREFIGHTERS were called out to a house near Chester after a significant amount of flood water entered the property.
One fire crew attended to reports of electrics at the house in Little Rake Lane, Chorlton-By-Backford, at about 5.10pm yesterday, (Sunday, May 16), having gone off as a result of the water.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters entered the address and made the electrics safe.
"They also assisted with a salvage operation, to limit the damage caused by the flood water.
"Firefighters were in attendance for around an hour."
