A NEW country pub and boutique hotel in Cheshire is set to open next month, creating 25 new jobs.

Hartford Hall on School Lane in Hartford is set to open to the public from Saturday, June 12.

Originally a nunnery and former manor house dating back to the 16th century, the hotel and pub has received an injection of over half a million-pounds for its transformation.

To celebrate the opening, a series of soft launches and an exclusive opening party will be rolled out from June 2.

Retaining many of the building’s original quirks, including charming oak beams and open fires, Hartford Hall on School Lane will feature a modern bar and dining space and covered outdoor terrace.

Located on School Lane in Hartford, the newly reimagined venue is set in the Cheshire countryside.

Matthew Abbott, general manager at Hartford Hall on School Lane, said: “We’re over the moon to be opening the doors of our beautiful pub and cannot wait to say a huge hello to our community.

"Whether popping by for a few cocktails, or enjoying a much-needed staycation, our aim is for Hartford Hall on School Lane to be our guests’ home-from-home.

"We know a step back into hospitality has been a long time coming – and so providing a quality, safe experience is our upmost priority for locals and visitors alike.”
