ONLY two areas of Warrington have not 'suppressed' coronavirus according to the latest Government figures.

Warrington currently has its lowest number of cases since the start of the pandemic.

If an area has less than three cases in the past week, an area is described as having 'suppressed the virus'. The number is not revealed to protect the identities of those people who test positive.

That has happened in everywhere in Warrington apart from Fairfield and Howley and Callands and Old Hall.

Fairfield and Howley has had three positive cases in the past seven days.

That is down one from the previous week.

Callands and Old Hall has also had three positive cases in the past seven days.

That is down two from the previous week.

Everywhere else has had less than three cases.

In total, 28 cases were recorded across the whole of Warrington in that period.
