THREE fire crews attended a blaze in a first floor flat of a Bournemouth building.
Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service was called shortly before 3pm on May 13 to Fawley Green.
A DW Fire spokesperson said: “Control received several calls to smoke issuing from a residential property in Fawley Green, Bournemouth.
“The initial call was to a fire alarm operating and one appliance from Redhill was mobilised but further resources were mobilised when calls confirmed there was a fire in a flat in a residential property.
“Further crews attended from Christchurch and Westbourne. It was confirmed to be a residential building of two floors, L-shaped construction measuring 50m x 25m, fire in kitchen of flat on first floor extinguished using one hose reel and breathing apparatus.”
