POLICE have issued an urgent appeal for help from the public in finding a 16-year-old boy who went missing in Cheshire.

Tyler Hawitt was last seen at 6pm on Saturday and has not been sighted since.

Tyler, from Widnes, is about 5ft tall with long mousey brown hair, but usually covers it up with a hooded top.

He was last seen wearing a grey cagoule type top with a jumper underneath, black jogging bottoms and black trainers.

He may be in possession of two small bags.

Inspector Neil Anson said: “As time goes by, we are becoming increasingly concerned for Tyler’s welfare.

“I would urge anyone who sees Tyler to contact the police so that we can return him to his family, who are very worried about him.”
