FIREFIGHTERS were called out to a mother and child stuck in mud in a boggy area of a park in Cheshire.
Five fire crews attended the incident at Tatton Park shortly before 3pm today (Sunday, May 2).
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters attended the scene and communicated with the pair who had been walking in the park when they got stuck in a swampy area.
"By using the app 'What 3 Words' the crews were quickly able to identify their exact location and they were subsequently rescued by firefighters.
"The pair were both passed to the care of paramedics to be checked over as a precautionary measure.
"The crews were detained at the incident for around an hour."
