A SHOW in Cheshire is set to make a return this summer for one day only.

The Royal Cheshire County Show was held virtually last year due to the pandemic, but this year will be staged on Saturday, July 31.

Tickets are now live and available to purchase for the event, held off Flittogate Lane in Tabley.

A spokesman for the event said: "An exciting line-up of attractions will be taking place at the one-day show including competitions, exhibitions, demonstrations and performances.

"Rest assured, your old Royal Cheshire County Show favourites are set to be making an appearance.

"We are delighted to welcome back the exhilarating Quad Bike Stunt Show, showcasing precision riding, nail-biting

tricks and jumps and the unforgettable multiple-roll stunt.

"Also back for 2021 is The world-renowned Sheep Show, a fun and educational ‘Miss World of sheep' featuring the famous dancing beauties in the ’Sheep Show Hustle.’"

There will also be opportunity to celebrate local cuisine at the Roberts Bakery Food Village, and the traditions of rural communities at The Village Green.
