THREE fire crews were called out to a late night crash involving two lorries on a motorway in Cheshire.
Firefighters attended the accident shortly before 10.50pm last night (Friday, April 30) on the M6 southbound between junctions 18 and 19.
Crews from Sandbach, Holmes Chapel and Lymm were dispatched to the scene and they discovered that there had been a collision between two HGVs.
Firefighters made the vehicles safe and assisted with lane closures.
The drivers of the vehicles were treated by paramedics, but they are not believed to have sustained any serious injuries.
The crews were detained at the scene for about an hour.
