A TRANSIT van was stopped by police near Chester – who discovered it was being driven with THREE illegal tyres.
The vehicle was pulled over by officers in Dunkirk yesterday (April 29).
The van was also found to have a number of other defects.
North West Motorway Police posted on its Facebook page yesterday evening: "Vehicle stopped today by Regional Commercial Vehicle Unit Sgt at Dunkirk in Cheshire
"Vehicle had three illegal tyres, one of which had the cord exposed. Vehicle also found to have a fuel leak and no working near side indicators.
"GFPN's issued and prohibited by @DVSAenforcement."
