A driver was stopped on the M56 in Cheshire for doing 140mph.
A DRIVER caught travelling at 140mph on the M56 in Cheshire tested positive for cannabis and cocaine.
The speeding motorist was spotted by a police officer in an unmarked car on the motorway yesterday (April 26).
Cheshire Police Roads and Crime Unit posted on Twitter last night: "Driver of this vehicle passed our unmarked #TPAC officer at 140mph.
"The speed limit on a motorway is 70mph.
"When the vehicle stopped the driver tested positive for Cannabis/Cocaine and was the owner of a provisional licence."
