FIREFIGHTERS have been called out to a number of fires over the last 24 hours.

Two fire crews attended a blaze in Robin Hood Lane, Frodsham today (Saturday, April 24) at about 3.30pm.

On arrival firefighters found a shed well alight at a property.

Wearing breathing apparatus crews used a hose reel to put out the flames.

The inside of the property was checked over by crews to see if the fire had spread.

Crews then dampened down and made sure the area was safe.

* One fire crew attended to three small fires in a wooded area near the M53 Northbound.

A hose reel was used to extinguish the small fires at about 6.30am today (Saturday, April 24)

* One fire crew were called out to a outbuilding well alight in Neston

Firefighters attended the blaze in Liverpool Road shortly before 11pm yesterday (Friday, April 23).

A hose reel jet was used to put out the flames and damp down.

The area was also checked using a thermal imaging camera.

* Firefighters were called out to a fire involving a wood and conifers in Oldcastle Lane, Malpas, at about 6.40pm yesterday (Friday, April 23).

A crew used a hose reel to put out the flames and then dampened down the area.

* A fire crew were called out to a tree well alight in Regal Close, Great Sutton, at about 6.30pm yesterday (Friday, April 23).

Firefighters used a hose reel to extinguish a tree well alight on Regal Close.

* Firefighters were called out to a small fire in a garden at a property in Princes Road, Ellesmere Port, at about 5.40pm yesterday (Friday, April 23).

One fire crew used a hose reel to extinguish the small fire.
