POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a handbag was stolen from a car in Ellesmere Port.
Thieves targeted a Vauxhall Insignia parked on Westminster Road at 7.20pm yesterday (April 22).
Officers are urging anyone with information to come forward.
Cheshire Constabulary's Rossmore Police Facebook account posted: "Witness Appeal – theft from motor vehicle. Handbag stolen from inside a grey Vauxhall Insignia parked on Westminster Road last night at approximately 7:20pm.
"Any information to assist enquiries please contact."
