TWO fire crews were called out to rescue a dog from the River Dee near Chester.
The water rescue unit also attended the scene shortly after 5pm yesterday in River Lane, Saltney.
A spokesman for the Cheshie Fire and Rescue Service said: "On arrival two swift water technicians on a water rescue tether rescued the dog from the water."
