FIREFIGHTERS removed the roof of a car to free a woman trapped following a crash at a junction in Cheshire.
Two fire crews were called out to the two-car collision at about 11.40am yesterday (Saturday, April 17).
On arrival to the scene of the crash at the junction of Wellington Road and Park Road, Nantwich, firefighters assisted North West Ambulance Service with the casualties.
A spokesman for the Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters then extracted a woman from one of the cars by removing the roof.
"The woman was then passed into the care of paramedics.
"The crews were on scene for around one hour and 20 minutes."
