ITALIAN restaurant chain Prezzo has confirmed its Ellesmere Port branch will reopen next week for outside dining.

The Coliseum Leisure Park premises will be welcoming back customers from Monday, April 12 when the latest Covid-19 restrictions are eased.

The chain says it will have the following measures in place to ensure the safety of both diners and staff:

  • All menus are disposable to ensure no contamination
  • Digital ordering so customers can order directly from their own smartphone or tablet using the QR code displayed on tables
  • Each customer will be asked to scan-in using the NHS Test & Trace app, in line with the recent Government guidance
  • Standard social distancing markers, hand sanitizers and posters with Public Health England advice will be in place throughout the restaurant

Karen Jones, CEO of Prezzo, said: “We cannot wait to welcome back customers to our Cheshire Oaks restaurant. Gardens, terraces and courtyards are being prepped, preened and planted to make sure everything looks wonderful and is Covid-secure.

"The teams stand ready to greet customers, and their families and friends with the biggest smiles and the warmest of welcomes.

"Tables are limited so the advice is to book early and give yourself something to look forward to. At last, it’s time for pasta, pizza, vino. Let’s go…al fresco!”

Prezzo will be reopening 70 restaurants for al fresco dining on April 12, all of which will be offering click and collect and/or delivery as well, with a further 22 for Dine@Home only.
